Until now, exploring the entire 27-book New Testament in one coherent learning experience has been nearly impossible.
The Scriptural Experience of a Lifetime
The New Testament: A Guided Tour explores each book’s perspective on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, as well as the beliefs, practices, and problems of the early Christian communities. You will examine the purpose, contents and theology of each New Testament book, but you will also explore the historical contexts necessary for understanding the Bible better.
Discover New Depths of Meaning
Unearth the key literary features and theological emphases of each writing to gain much more as you continue to read or hear these biblical texts on your own.
This course is divided into three main sections. First, the Four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. Next, the letters written by and/or attributed to St. Paul of Tarsus. Finally, the rest of the New Testament writings (Hebrews, the Catholic Epistles, and the Book of Revelation), as well as a few “non-canonical writings.”
You will gain broad overviews of the biblical materials and also looks at sample texts in greater detail. The course is designed to inspire you to read the biblical texts more often and with greater understanding, as well as study the individual books in greater detail. It serves as a helpful compliment to the other courses from “Now You Know Media” that deal with individual books or smaller sections of the New Testament.

You will receive a CD that contains a color PDF copy of the written guide and may print and distribute up to 7 copies. Simply insert the CD into any computer to access the file.
